Most organisations can now produce a sustainability report. The harder part is getting the impact data in those reports onto the decision-making table. When budgets are set, when a project is scaled up or dropped, or when a risk is weighed, impact is often left out.
This training is about closing that gap. If your organisation is still mainly reporting and disclosing, we will work through how to move to a set-up where impact is managed routinely and feeds into decisions.
In September 2026, ISO and UNDP published ISO/UNDP 53001, a new international standard on how organisations manage their contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals. It builds on the UNDP SDG Impact Standards. Two of our trainers, Dr Adam Richards and Agata Fortuna, were involved in developing these standards and will share that experience directly in the room. By the end of the training, you will know what a working impact management system requires and where to start in your own organisation.
About the trainers
Dr Adam Richards, Agata Fortuna and Dr Gonca Ongan are SDG Impact Standards trainers accredited by Social Value International (SVI). Dr Adam Richards was UNDP's representative in the development of ISO/UNDP 53001. Agata Fortuna is a member of SVI's Standards Committee and SVI's representative in the ISO/UNDP 53001 Technical Committee. Dr Gonca Ongan is the founding Chairperson of Social Value Türkiye, a board member of SVI and co-founder of ImpactNest.
Who is it for?
People working in sustainability, CSR, ESG and impact, and managers responsible for strategy, governance and performance.
How do we work?
We keep groups small so that everyone gets a say. Throughout the training we work on real cases and decision situations, and we have set aside plenty of time for exchanging experience with peers from Türkiye.
